Little Stars of PULL-UP Project

Holy Rosary High School, Nuvem, entered the Under-14 Basketball Tournament organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs (DSYA), after a long gap of 12 years, thanks to the initiative of PULL-UP. Last week 19.October.2015, they emerged Taluka champs, defeating prominent schools such as Loyola’s Margao, and Fr Agnels Verna. With the spark of Basketball lit by the Pull-Up project, an initiative by young cagers of Dubai, who came on a week long program to train rural kids to the game of basketball, this was the first effect that has really given a boost to the whole venture.

Appreciation was quick to follow on facebook and social media. Sandra Fernandes Martis was the first with a message, ‘Congratulations LITTLE STARS and keep up the good work and we are all proud of your achievements . To all the boys from the PULL UP project we are extremely proud of your dedication to the cause. Dedication and Commitment are what transfer dreams into realities.’
