State Sub-Junior Basketball Championship
The Goa Basketball Association will be organising the State Sub-Junior (Under-14) Basketball Championship for boys and girls from August 8 to 11, 2016. Players born on or after 01-01-2003 are eligi
ble to participate in the tournament which is open to schools and clubs.
Those institutions who desire to participate may contact Olencio Dias (Margao), Sydney Furtado (Vasco), Luis Gomes (Ponda), Schubert Braganza (Mapusa), Helen Pinto (Saligao), or the GBA President, Fr Ralin de Souza and GBA Secretary, Ashley do Rosario (Panjim) latest by August 4th, 2016.
The GBA Selection Committee will be spotting probables from the State Championship to select the State team for participation in the Sub-Junior National Championship. An open selection trial will also be held after the State Championship so as to give students whose schools do not participate in the State Championship an opportunity.
